I’m sure I speak for us all when I say we as a town are overjoyed that the next President of The USA, Sir Donald Trump is to planning to open his first UK shop here in Beckworth. Sir Donny, as he likes his staff to call him, has asked for planning-permission to build a branch of his successful equestrian and hair-piece superstore, Stirrups & Syrups, in the grounds of Beckworth Castle.
